Launch of Nippon Shokubai Group Open Innovation Center
Accelerating Innovation through Collaboration with Nippon Shokubai and Nippon Nyukazai
NIPPOH CHEMICALS CO., LTD. (Head Office: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; President: Takashi Tomita; hereinafter “Nippoh Chemicals”) has launched the activities of the Nippon Shokubai Group Open Innovation Center (hereinafter “the Center”) on August 1, 2025, in collaboration with NIPPON SHOKUBAI CO., LTD. (hereinafter “Nippon Shokubai”) and NIPPON NYUKAZAI CO., LTD. (hereinafter “Nippon Nyukazai”) to strengthen inter-group cooperation and accelerate the creation of new products and businesses.
The Center is designed to maximize group-wide synergies by integrating the technologies, expertise, and human resources of each Nippon Shokubai Group, with a strong focus on “open innovation”.
As the first initiative, the Center will begin developing new products for the growing electronics market, driving the creation of innovative solutions that meet next-generation needs.
Looking ahead, the Center plans to expand its open innovation activities to include other group companies, further accelerating value creation across the entire Nippon Shokubai Group.
